Leads the continued development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy, including external stakeholder management, communication, patient identification, evidence generation, publications, and medical education. Translates organizational goals into processes in order to fulfill unmet medical needs through the generation of scientific evidence. Directs activities for the delivery of scientific value to key stakeholders and patients. Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations. Directs activities for medical affairs and medical information teams. Communicates direction for the creation of materials and content used in scientific communications. Develops policies and procedures for external stakeholder management, scientific communications, evidence generation, publications, and medical education activities. Facilitates clinical studies and investigator-initiated research. Maintains in-depth knowledge of professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature and acts as a resource for the team. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets. Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
