Full job description Compliance Manager -
Property Management Location:
Queens, NY About Us:
We are a Queens-based property management company seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across our residential property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Manage compliance with Department of Buildings (DOB) Local Law 11 (façade safety inspections) Local Law 97 (energy efficiency & emissions) Boiler and elevator inspections, filings, and corrections Track and resolve violations with DOB, DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP Work with expeditors and architects to correct violations Maintain compliance calendars to ensure timely inspections, filings, and reporting Coordinate with vendors and contractors to correct violations Provide compliance updates and reports to ownership and management Train property staff on compliance policies and best practices
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years compliance experience in NYC property management Strong knowledge of DOB codes, violations, and correction processes Familiar with DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills Proven track record managing and resolving property compliance issues
