Vice President of Corporate Integrity Position Summary:
The VP of Corporate Integrity is a senior leader responsible for overseeing Compliance, Corporate Integrity, Risk Management, Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI), Privacy, Internal Audit Processes, and Investigative Processes. This role also responsible for serving as the primary liaison to external legal counsel and supporting routine agency legal needs.

Compensation :
$120,000-$140,000 per year
Position-Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Corporate Integrity/Compliance Provide executive oversight of the Corporate Compliance Department, Privacy Office, and PQI function Develop and oversee a comprehensive corporate integrity and compliance program Ensure adherence to federal, New York State, and local regulations Legal Coordination Serve as liaison to external legal counsel & coordinate legal review of contracts and agreements Conduct preliminary contract review and support document drafting Support CEO and Board on governance and fiduciary responsibilities Performance & Quality Improvement Oversee PQI strategy, performance measurement, and outcomes tracking Ensure data-driven monitoring of program effectiveness & drive continuous PQI improvement Ensure compliance with funder and regulatory standards Oversee corrective action planning Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks & develop/implement risk management strategies Oversee insurance programs and act as liaison to carriers and brokers Manage claims and risk transfer strategies & advise leadership on risk implications Privacy, Records Management & Information Governance Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and data protection laws Supervise privacy functions and handling of confidential information Manage records retention schedules & ensure compliant document destruction practices Audit & Investigations Develop/oversee internal audit processes & Coordinate with external auditors as appropriate Oversee and coordinate internal investigations & support external investigations with legal counsel and regulators Ensure documentation and resolution of findings Justice Center Compliance (NYS) Ensure compliance with NYS Justice Center requirements Oversee incident reporting and tracking Supervise internal reviews and investigations & ensure adherence to timelines and documentation standards Leadership Directly supervise the Corporate Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, and PQI Manager Serve as a member of the executive leadership team Provide staff training on compliance, risk, privacy, and PQI Support readiness for audits, investigations, and accreditation All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills Self-motivated and detail oriented with excellent verbal and communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships Ability to travel to all affiliation locations Strong knowledge of nonprofit and Medicaid compliance Experience with compliance programs, audits, investigations, and PQI systems Qualifications Advanced related degree 7-10 years of leadership experience Juris Doctor (JD) preferred Familiarity with NYS Justice Center requirements preferred An EEO/AA Agency We want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
