May 13, 2026 FDRsafety is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health, & Safety to lead enterprise-wide safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory programs across manufacturing and distribution operations. This role is highly specialized, combining EHS leadership with deep regulatory expertise in chemical compliance, product stewardship, and environmental programs. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Product Stewardship
Lead regulatory programs related to chemical products, including federal and state compliance requirements
Oversee regulatory submissions, product registrations, and labeling compliance
Serve as the primary liaison with federal, state, and third-party regulatory bodies
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations including waste management, emissions, and reporting
Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership
Develop and implement company-wide EHS policies, programs, and procedures
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action initiatives
Drive a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture across all operations
Manufacturing & Distribution Oversight
Ensure safe operations across blending, packaging, storage, and distribution environments
Oversee hazard communication programs, SDS management, and employee safety training
Support compliance with hazardous materials transportation regulations
Auditing & Compliance Assurance
Conduct internal audits and lead regulatory inspections across facilities
Maintain compliance documentation and ensure audit readiness
Develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Operations, Regulatory, and Leadership teams to align compliance and safety initiatives
Provide executive-level reporting on compliance, risk, and safety performance
Manage and develop EHS and compliance team members
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Safety, or related field
10+ years of EHS and/or regulatory compliance experience
Strong background in chemical manufacturing, blending, or distribution
Deep knowledge of EPA environmental regulations and compliance programs
Experience with complex regulatory submissions and compliance oversight
Preferred
Experience with pesticide or chemical regulatory frameworks (e.g., FIFRA or similar)
Experience managing product certifications and regulatory documentation
Professional certifications such as CHMM, CSP, or CIH
