Job Description
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering, is required. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of North Carolina is required. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering with at least 4 years in a management role. In depth knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental compliance regulations such asUSEPA, NC
DEQ, AWWA, ACOE, and NCDOT. Ability to manage and proven experience with projects using hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or SWMM is required. Expertise with interpretation of and client support with NPDES permits including MSGP, MS4, individual discharge, water quality standards, spill prevention, and other Clean Water Act regulations. Strong management skills include participation in management meetings, strategic planning, and establishing revenue goals and departmental/office budgets.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions and the ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil engineering-related projects including stormwater and hydraulic design. Design experience with grading/site design, green infrastructure, stormwater management, and hydraulic modeling. Ability to work independently, self-critique work, and multi-task regularly in a fast-paced environment with multiple changes, accepting responsibility for critical work products and meeting tight deadlines. Proven track record of successful interactions with regulatory agencies. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Work Environment The work environment will be a mix of in-office and remote work. Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office. In office space will be provided for you in the company's Stow, Ohio office. For any allowable remote work. uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps.Additional:
