Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a remote Director, Corporate Compliance Officer, Northeast Division to join our team.
Remote, United States. Applicants will need to travel in the Northeast Division to help locally support division as needed (Main Location in Raritan, New Jersey)
Responsibilities:
Strategic Guidance and Day-to-Day SupportBuild collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership, laboratory operations, phlebotomy, and sales/commercial personnel at all levels.
Provide proactive compliance guidance and support on a broad range of clinical laboratory arrangements with hospitals/health systems, physicians, medical clinics, and other clients.
Lead compliance-related due diligence and integration activities for health system and regional laboratory acquisitions within the division.
Engage with other departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle Management, Real Estate, Law/Contracts, Science and Technology, and Quality to advance cross-functional initiatives and projects in support of Labcorp Diagnostics compliance and business objectives.
Engage with senior Corporate Compliance leaders to ensure consistent communication, reporting, and alignment on divisional compliance activities and initiatives.
Internal Investigations Conduct thorough internal investigations into potential compliance program violations and other allegations of misconduct, including those arising from governmental inquiries, internal and third-party audits, and/or Compliance Action Line reportsCollaborate with Legal, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to appropriately remediate compliance issues and implement correction action plansPrepare summaries, maintain investigation records, and support reporting to senior compliance leadership.
Compliance Training and CommunicationImplement compliance training programs and educational opportunities for new and existing employees to ensure a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and Labcorp policies and procedures.
Monitor state and federal healthcare laws and regulations that apply to Labcorp's operations within the division.
Engage with divisional teams on Corporate Compliance Department enterprise-wide initiatives to promote a culture of compliance and ethics. Auditing and Monitoring SupportSupport compliance audit activities within the division to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Implement ongoing monitoring programs focused on key compliance risk areas, including provider financial relationships and billing arrangements.
Work with divisional leaders to strengthen processes based on audit and monitoring outcomes.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree7 years experience in healthcare compliancePreferred QualificationsCertified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)3+ years experience in a clinical laboratory or the diagnostics industry3+ years experience understanding the monitoring of programs focused on key compliance risk areas, including provider financial relationships and billing arrangements.3+ years experience guiding and supporting compliance on a broad range of clinical laboratory arrangements with hospitals/health systems, physicians, medical clinics, and other clients.3+ years leading compliance-related due diligence and integration activities for health system and regional laboratory acquisitions within the division.3+ years collaborating with Legal, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to appropriately remediate compliance issues and implement correction action plansAdditional Job StandardsExperience with implementing the Office of Inspector General's \
