This role reports directly to the Head of Bank and Fiduciary Compliance and serves as a senior leader within the Compliance Department. This position is strategic in nature and requires deep expertise in banking and fiduciary regulatory frameworks, particularly within organizations focused on wealth planning, fiduciary and investment management, and family office services. Key Responsibilities Play a significant role in the management of the Bessemer's Bank and Fiduciary Compliance Program. Assist with the oversight and continuous enhancement of compliance risk management, testing, and surveillance programs for the holding company and its national and state-chartered banks and trust companies. Monitor, assess, and coordinate the implementation of regulatory developments (e.g., FRB, OCC, FDIC, CIMA, SEC, and applicable state laws) and evolving industry best practices. Provide oversight and testing of the firm's

Part 9 annual account review processes. Provide proactive advisory support to Client and Wealth Advisors, as well as investment, finance, technology, and operations teams, to ensure effective control design and regulatory alignment. Support the firm's insurance advisory affiliate, including oversight of state licensing requirements, regulatory filings, compliance policies and procedures, and ongoing adherence to applicable insurance laws and regulations. Support and help manage regulatory examinations and internal audits, including coordination, response, and remediation efforts. Provide leadership and help to further develop a high-performing Compliance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with the designated
AML/BSA/OFAC
Officer to ensure alignment and effectiveness of financial crimes compliance efforts. Serve as a trusted advisor to governance committees, preparing materials and participating in meetings as appropriate. Develop, enhance, and deliver Compliance training programs to promote regulatory awareness and a strong culture of compliance across the organization. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Compliance and risk processes, leveraging industry best practices, process optimization, and technology-enabled solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Provide compliance oversight and regulatory guidance for Cayman trust company. Periodic travel to regional office locations as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and related certifications a plus. 12+ years of senior Compliance experience within banking, wealth management, and/or fiduciary environments. Deep knowledge of applicable banking and fiduciary laws, rules, and regulations (e.g., 12 CFR Part 9, Regulations O, W, P, and R, GLBA, ERISA, and the
USA PATRIOT
Act). Demonstrated experience managing regulatory relationships, including direct interaction with regulators and auditors, leading examinations, and overseeing issue identification and remediation. Familiarity with automated 9.6 review platforms and bank investment management platforms. Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing high-performing Compliance teams. Strong judgment and the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues effectively, while maintaining a collaborative approach across all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex regulatory concepts into clear, actionable guidance for senior and executive leadership. Proven ability to drive innovation, including implementation of technology-driven Compliance tools and enhancements. Knowledge of proprietary mutual fund operations within a bank, trust company, or wealth management environment (a plus). Exposure to insurance advisory compliance frameworks (a plus). The base salary range for this position is $210,000- $275,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k) program with a generous profit-sharing contribution, medical, prescription dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability coverage; paid holidays; vacation; and sick time, subject to plan terms and Company policies.
