Ethics and Compliance plays a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in managing risk and advising on how business is done, creating a work environment that embeds business ethics and compliance into day-to-day operations and ensures better control and predictability for Getinge on a global scale. This role is an excellent opportunity for an Ethics and Compliance professional to make a positive impact in a dynamic organization. Summary of the job Policies. Training. Communications. E&C Initiatives. As part of Getinge's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) team, this person will provide expertise in refining best practices, tools, and awareness opportunities for Getinge's E&C program. This person will support the team in effectively managing key E&C initiatives, including but not limited to the creation and roll out of underlying E&C policies and directives in cooperation with respective business stakeholders, as well as modern and effective trainings and communications. This individual will report to the Head of Ethics & Compliance North America and partner with North America and global stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to drive a culture of compliance. Principal Accountabilities Supports the Head of Ethics & Compliance North America with the design, development and implementation of Ethics & Compliance initiatives. Works to enhance and roll out Getinge's compliance policies, directives, procedures, associated training, and E&C-related communications. Creates and delivers E&C training, incorporating innovative instructional approaches to increase compliance awareness and understanding throughout Getinge. Formulates reports and presentations on the status and progress of E&C programs, spanning relevant metrics to measure program effectiveness. Develops and executes on holistic communications strategies across multiple channels to promote business ethics throughout North America. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Ethics & Compliance North America relevant to supporting the E&C Program. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree; law degree a plus but not required 5 or more years in Ethics & Compliance work within healthcare, pharma, or medical devices/medical technology Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work and influence cross-functionally Competencies Understanding of the legal and compliance requirements applicable in healthcare, pharma, or medical devices/medical technology Knowledge of U.S. fraud and abuse laws, FDA regulations, healthcare data privacy laws, OIG guidance, the AdvaMed Code, and transparency reporting laws Skilled at delivering presentations and creating interest in E&C-related topics Strong interpersonal skills and desire to support employees at all levels in the organization Excellent execution, follow-up, project management and coordination skills Highly organized with ability to act autonomously and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Adept at maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions. Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/ devices to complete assignments. Physical requirements such as lifting specific weight. Occasional domestic and international travel required to support business needs or attend meetings. Quality Requirements Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function). Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function). Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements. $130k - $160k depending upon experience + 15% bonus target.
