Job Description Regional Compliance Manager A growing multi-state property management and real estate organization is seeking an experienced Regional Compliance Manager to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel throughout a regional portfolio on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Provide operational support to onsite teams and assist with management responsibilities as needed. Monitor property appearance, unit turnover quality, and overall operational readiness. Review waiting lists and applicant files to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Conduct remote and onsite reviews of move-in and recertification files. Verify proper documentation, file organization, and completion of required corrections. Review compliance systems and reports to ensure timely follow-up and adherence to regulations. Serve as a resource for onsite staff regarding eligibility requirements, income and asset calculations, and compliance-related matters. Train and support onsite personnel on compliance policies and procedures. Assist communities during staffing transitions or vacancies. Monitor regulatory compliance across assigned properties. Prepare for and participate in audits, inspections, and agency reviews. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous property management compliance experience required. Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance programs and regulatory requirements preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region. Ability to work independently while supporting multiple locations.
