Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Regional Permitting Coordinator to lead the permitting process across multiple project sites within our region. In this vital role, you will ensure all construction and operational activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other public health requirements. Your expertise will facilitate smooth permit approvals, manage regulatory documentation, and support compliance management initiatives to uphold the highest safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project success through meticulous permitting oversight and regulatory adherence. Duties Coordinate and manage the permit application process for multiple construction sites, ensuring timely submission and approval in accordance with regional regulations. Collaborate with project teams, local authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate permit issuance and resolve any compliance issues that arise during project execution. Maintain comprehensive records of all permits, approvals, and related documentation to support regulatory reporting requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to verify ongoing compliance with OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations (if applicable), and public health guidelines. Prepare detailed reports on permitting status, compliance metrics, and inspection findings for internal review and external regulatory bodies. Assist in developing and implementing compliance management programs that promote a culture of safety, health, and regulatory adherence across all project sites. Stay informed about changes in regional permitting laws, OSHA updates, FDA regulations, and other relevant public health policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in construction permitting or regulatory compliance management within a regional or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, construction regulations, FDA regulations (if applicable), and public health policies. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation for regulatory reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, project teams, and contractors. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing permits and compliance records. Ability to interpret complex regulatory language and translate it into actionable site procedures. Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification or compliance management credentials are preferred. Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
