Job Description
Vitality Living is seeking a dynamic, compassionate leader of people to oversee Health and Wellness efforts for one of the area's best senior living communities. This critical leadership role will champion resident rights and ensure that medical, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs are being met. The Director of Wellness Transitions and Compliance serves as project lead for wellness transitions for newly acquired communities including data conversion and validation, end user training, set up of clinical system of record, and hand off to regional support team as well as monitors clinical compliance across the portfolio. As a Vitality Director of Wellness Transitions and Compliance, you will: Serve as a clinical representative on the transitions team to support the onboarding of new communities. Coordinate all phases of the wellness transition with community team members. Complete analysis of current community practices, set expectations to comply with state regulations, and complete transition items within established timeline. Quickly establish relationships with newly onboarding community teams. Train newly onboarded community teams on Vitality wellness standards. Track and coordinate training for new wellness team members, including completing on-boarding checklists and conducting follow-up calls for support as needed. Maintain, track, and assist with updating company policies. Track and trend regulatory citations by state and provide analysis to wellness and operations teams. Analyze key wellness KPI's and update wellness team on trends identified. Provide supporting information, interpretations, clarifications, and advice to regional and senior leadership to assist in making informed data-driven decisions. Complete focused compliance and standards visits for communities with an identified need. Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid, unencumbered LPN, LVN or RN license or compact license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other programs as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Effective training abilities, excellent leadership and people skills. Dedication to teamwork and long-term commitment to success. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent documentation, organizational, communication, and IT skills. Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work comfortably under tight deadlines and pressure Ability to travel up to 75%.
