Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Permitting Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating the permitting process for construction and public health projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of regulatory management, supporting project teams to navigate complex permitting requirements efficiently. Your expertise will help uphold safety standards, streamline approvals, and promote public health initiatives through meticulous permit coordination and compliance oversight. Responsibilities Manage and track all permit applications, renewals, and amendments across multiple projects, ensuring timely submission and approval. Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and clarify permitting requirements. Ensure all construction activities adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, FDA regulations (Food and Drug Administration), and other relevant safety protocols. Prepare comprehensive reports on permitting status, compliance issues, and regulatory reporting for project oversight. Conduct thorough reviews of project plans to confirm conformity with local, state, and federal regulations related to public health and safety. Maintain detailed records of permits, inspection reports, compliance documentation, and correspondence for audit readiness. Assist in developing strategies to improve permit processing efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines. Experience Proven experience in construction project coordination or permitting roles within regulated industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety protocols. Familiarity with FDA regulations related to public health initiatives or medical facility construction is a plus. Demonstrated ability in compliance management, report writing, and regulatory reporting processes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple permits simultaneously. Effective communication skills for liaising with regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
