ITAR, CMMC
Level 2, AS9100, OSHA, EPA, ATF and other applicable regulations, quality standards, customer requirements, and government contract obligations. This role supports manufacturing operations by managing regulatory risk, ensuring export and security compliance, and maintaining certifications. Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Contract Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace and defense regulations, including
ITAR, CMMC
Level 2, DFARS, FAR, ATF and related government contracting requirements Ensure compliance with applicable drinking water, wastewater, and runoff regulations including NPDWR, NPDES, and other applicable EPA/water regulations or requirements Interpret and implement customer-specific and regulatory compliance requirements across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions Monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational and contractual impact Quality & Standards Oversight Support and oversee compliance with industry quality standards such as
AS9100, ISO
9001, NADCAP, and customer flow-down requirements Partner with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to embed compliance into manufacturing processes and procedures Prepare for, support, and respond to customer, regulatory, and third-party audits Policies, Training & Risk Management Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls Lead compliance risk assessments related to manufacturing, sourcing, exports, and government contracts Design and deliver compliance and regulatory training for employees, including export control and ethics training Audit, Investigations & Reporting Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement Investigate potential compliance violations and support corrective and preventive actions Track, document, and report compliance metrics, findings, and remediation efforts to management Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or a related field 7+ years of compliance, quality, regulatory, or audit experience within aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing Strong knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, FAR, and A&D quality standards Working knowledge of CMMC Level 2 requirements Working knowledge of EPA, NPDWR, NPDES, and other water regulations Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to shop-floor and professional audiences Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting government or DoD contracts Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer audit processes Professional certifications such as
CCEP, CPCM, CRCMP, CQA
