This role will be responsible for ensuring Washington Fruit Growers and our supplier partners consistently meet our customer standards related to food safety, ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, traceability, packaging, labor practices, and operational compliance. The ideal candidate will function as the primary coordinator for customer compliance programs, supplier documentation, audit readiness, and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities Customer & Vendor Compliance Manage compliance requirements for major retail customers, including vendor manuals, supplier standards, and customer-specific policies. Ensure adherence to retailer requirements related to food safety, traceability, packaging, labeling, & quality assurance. Maintain and track all required supplier and company documentation, certifications, insurance records, and compliance reporting. Coordinate onboarding and qualification of grower/packers. Monitor supplier performance and compliance status to ensure ongoing conformity with customer expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer compliance requests, documentation submissions, and audit coordination. Maintain vendor portals and customer compliance systems with current and accurate information. Support and manage sustainability and ESG initiatives. Collect, track, and report supplier sustainability data including environmental practices, waste reduction, water usage, carbon reduction efforts, and ethical labor practices. Monitor compliance with retailer sustainability standards and evolving ESG expectations. Help develop internal sustainability reporting and metrics for customers and leadership teams. Audit & Risk Management Coordinate and support customer, third-party, and regulatory audits. Ensure readiness for food safety audits, social responsibility audits, and sustainability assessments. Track corrective actions and collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues in a timely manner. Partner with food safety, operations, sales, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements. Communicate changing retailer standards and compliance expectations internally and externally. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier performance & sustainability. Preferred Experience Bachelor's Degree Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, responsible sourcing, or supplier social compliance programs Strong communication and relationship management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor compliance management systems
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
