About the Role As a Food Regulatory and Labeling Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our product portfolio meets stringent safety and compliance standards. You will bridge the gap between R&D innovation and market readiness by managing complex labeling requirements and contributing to the development of high-quality food products. Responsibilities Oversee the creation and verification of product labels, ensuring all ingredient declarations, allergen statements, and Nutrition Facts panels are accurate. Conduct thorough reviews of packaging artwork to guarantee full alignment with FDA and USDA regulatory frameworks. Synthesize complex regulatory updates into actionable insights for cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Production. Drive product development initiatives by designing experiments, analyzing formulation data, and reporting findings to leadership. Maintain rigorous documentation for regulatory compliance and support packaging data reporting requirements. Execute sensory evaluations and shelf-life testing to validate product quality and stability. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline the transition from concept to commercialization for new food concepts. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific discipline. 1-3 years of hands-on experience in food labeling or regulatory compliance. Foundational knowledge of U.S. food regulations, including FDA and USDA guidelines. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills Familiarity with food chemistry, microbiology, and statistical analysis. Experience with laboratory equipment and standard analytical testing procedures. Basic culinary or food formulation knowledge. Proven ability to communicate technical regulatory information to non-technical stakeholders.
