Job Description

Company Overview Crew Installations, Inc. in Fresno, CA installs modular furniture, walls and flooring throughout the Central California region. We are a hard-working fast-paced organization with a great team of individuals! Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Certified Payroll / Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing project administration, including paperwork processing, DIR reporting, payroll processing, prevailing wage requirements, and other mandated reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with state and federal labor regulations while providing critical administrative support to our construction operations. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support & Paperwork Prepare, process, and maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders, and related records. Assist with subcontractor and vendor compliance paperwork. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) Reporting Submit and track all DIR registrations, filings, and reports. Ensure compliance with Apprenticeship regulations and guidelines and timely filings of DAS 140 and DAS 142 forms. Ensure contractors and subcontractors are properly registered with the DIR. Prepare, process, and maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders, and related records. Assist with subcontractor and vendor compliance paperwork. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Payroll & Prevailing Wage Compliance Prepare and complete payroll processing on a weekly basis for prevailing wage public projects and non-prevailing wage projects. Review certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance. Monitor and track prevailing wage requirements for all applicable projects. Prepare and submit certified payroll reports to the appropriate agencies. Serve as the point of contact for wage determinations, corrections, and compliance audits. Reporting & Data Management Create and maintain accurate project compliance reports. Track deadlines, project milestones, and reporting requirements. Provide weekly and monthly updates to project managers and leadership. Communication & Coordination Act as liaison between payroll, project managers, subcontractors, and state agencies. Respond to inquiries from government agencies regarding compliance documentation. Support project teams with administrative needs to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare, process, and maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders, and related records. Assist with subcontractor and vendor compliance paperwork. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) year's experience working with Public Works Labor and Compliance Programs. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred Strong knowledge of DIR reporting, prevailing wage requirements, and certified payroll . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with compliance software such as LCPtracker, Elations, or similar. Knowledge of state and federal labor compliance laws. Familiarity with construction contracts, submittals, and change order processes.
