Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support technical, quality, and compliance operations in a cGMP-regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will partner with Quality, Technology, Maintenance, Facilities, Calibration, and EH&S teams to resolve complex issues, support investigations, and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve technical and compliance issues across Quality, Technology, Maintenance, Facilities, Calibration, and EH&S. Troubleshoot and support resolution of quality issues through cross-functional collaboration. Review and approve change requests and provide technical assessments for controlled document changes. Participate in discrepancy investigations, deviation assessments, and closure activities. Serve as a subject matter expert during regulatory agency interactions. Identify technical, procedural, and equipment-related risks that may impact production or compliance. Implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within required timelines. Ensure all manufacturing operations are performed in full compliance with cGMP documentation standards. Support investigations related to cleanroom out-of-action limits and adverse trends. Lead or facilitate root cause analysis sessions for complex issues. Act as Discrepancy Owner Lead, including assigning assessments, attending triage, summarizing deviations, routing to QA, and tracking related actions to closure.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience with mammalian cell culture and/or purification of biopharmaceutical products. Familiarity with cGMPs, FDA, ICH, and European regulatory guidelines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Strong problem-solving, technical assessment, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment requiring gowning, including hospital scrubs, bunny suits, gloves, and steel-toe boots. Comfortable working in environments where hazardous materials may be present.
