Job Description

Business Title:
Compliance Officer Job Purpose:
Ensures that The Tribe's gaming operation, Black Oak Casino adheres to all applicable federal, state, and tribal laws and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of gaming activities and protecting tribal assets and provide a safe working environment for the employees of Black Oak Casino.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor gaming activities to ensure adherence to the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), tribal gaming ordinances, and other relevant laws. Make intelligent, professional, and unbiased decisions relative to regulatory and compliance issues. Ensure confidentiality of all information in the Tribal Gaming Agency office including, but not limited to, information from federal, tribal or state law enforcement and state gaming office.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Qualifications
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT DAY/SWING/GRAVEYARD MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to work any shift and be self motivated Must be of high moral character and established integrity Be willing to sign an oath of confidentiality Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other basic computer applications Working knowledge of table games, slot operations and the Indian Gaming industry preferred
