Job Description

Compliance Analyst II •This position requires an active SECRET clearance to be considered. •The Compliance Analyst II will ensure compliance with U.S. export laws and regulations, particularly under Parts 122 and 129 of the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). In this role, you will perform a range of duties to facilitate the registration of exporters, manufacturers, and brokers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing information submitted by registrants, conducting license request reviews, and maintaining the State Department's Watch List database.

Compliance Analyst II:

Compliance Analyst II Responsibilities Include:
Facilitate the registration of exporters, manufacturers, and brokers under ITAR regulations. Review submitted information to ensure compliance with criminal violation requirements, foreign ownership and control, and notices of changes. Review license requests, initiate inquiries, and obtain appropriate documentation for compliance. Update and maintain the State Department's Watch List database to comply with AECA and support foreign policy implementation. Monitor team efforts, adapt to workload shifts, and maintain high-quality work products. Coordinate with interagency non-proliferation and export control community on arms trafficking and proliferation matters. Perform record searches, analyze license approvals, and produce comprehensive reports to support criminal investigations. Participate in the Company Visit Program, conducting visits to defense companies and reporting findings. Maintain a list of debarred parties ineligible for defense article and service exports. Coordinate with the Office of Defense Trade Controls Licensing on compliance and enforcement matters, including license suspensions, revocations, and denials. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Compliance Analyst II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience with regulatory compliance or civil or criminal enforcement. At least 5 years of regulatory experience. Must have

experience Good judgment and ability to work with supervision. Good interpersonal skills and ability to resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner. Good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. The candidate should be prepared to provide writing samples. Good organizational skills including the ability to assist on multiple projects consistent with established timeframes. Ability to synthesize information and develop recommendations for management based on an analysis of the information. Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs and be able to operate all office equipment including but not limited to telephones, copy machines, fax machines, scanners, printers, and computers. Successful completion of all Cherokee Federal pre-employment requirements.
