Operations Agent Location:
1899 L St NW, Washington, DC 20036 (On-Site)
Employment Type:

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours per week) Background Check Required (post-offer) About TLScontact Founded in 2007, TLScontact partners with governments worldwide to provide visa and consular services to travelers and citizens. With operations in 90 countries and 150 visa application centers, we process over 4 million visa applications annually. Position Overview TLScontact is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Agent to join our team in Washington DC. This role is responsible for document verification, customer service, and compliance with security protocols to ensure smooth visa application processing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities Documentation Processing Greet applicants professionally and assist them throughout the visa application process. Verify documents for accuracy and completeness per official guidelines. Ensure applicant details on internal systems match official identification documents. Clearly communicate application status and next steps to applicants. Quality Control & Compliance Review documents processed by colleagues for accuracy and compliance. Log documentation errors and discrepancies in the internal system. Follow all security procedures and maintain strict data confidentiality. Client Reception & Support Verify appointment details and applicant identity upon arrival. Ensure proper workflow coordination with the Operations Manager and team. Maintain an orderly and professional waiting area. Provide clear and professional responses to client inquiries. Security & Confidentiality Participate in mandatory security training. Comply with data protection policies and anti-corruption regulations. Promptly report security concerns or document irregularities to management.
Qualifications & Skills Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (additional certifications in customer service or administration are a plus). At least one year of experience in customer service or administrative roles. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Customer-focused approach with problem-solving capabilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:
$23 per hour
Employment Classification:
