This role is key in ensuring product labels meet all FDA, USDA, state, and imported food regulations while supporting product launches and ongoing compliance. If you enjoy working cross-functionally, staying on top of regulations, and making a direct impact on product quality and safety—this is a great opportunity.

What You'll Do:

• Review and update product labels to ensure compliance with FDA (21 CFR), USDA, and state regulations Ensure accuracy of ingredients, allergens, disclosures, and claims Manage label updates tied to ingredient changes, regulatory updates, and new product launches Review legacy, flagged, and new products to improve label accuracy and reduce backlog Work directly with domestic & international suppliers to gather and validate label documentation Partner with QA, Marketing, and Procurement to move label projects forward efficiently Identify compliance gaps and potential risks (including recall risks) and escalate when needed Support and improve SOPs, processes, and best practices for labeling compliance Review marketing claims and product messaging to ensure they are compliant and supportable

What You Bring:

• BS in Food Science or related field 3-5 years of experience with FDA (21 CFR) and USDA labeling requirements FDA food labeling certification Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills #
