Job Description

Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level HR Recruiter / Compliance Coordinator to join our human resources team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance management within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting talent with opportunities, ensuring adherence to employment laws, and supporting organizational growth through effective recruitment strategies. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to start their career in HR and compliance. Responsibilities Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels including social media management, Indeed, company website, etc. Support internal recruiting efforts by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Conduct initial candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies. Assist in onboarding processes Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to employment & labor law regulations and maintaining accurate employee records. Engage in research related to HR best practices, market trends, and competitor analysis to enhance recruitment effectiveness. Maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders through effective communication skills and relationship management techniques. Track and maintain employee files and hiring documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws Monitor required licenses, certifications, background checks, and expiration dates Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems Support audits and internal compliance reviews as needed Skills Strong communication skills for effective interviewing, negotiation, and relationship management. Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques including cold calling and social media management. Understanding of employment & labor law principles relevant to recruiting and compliance coordination. Skills in training & development support as well as succession planning activities are a plus. Demonstrated ability in lead generation for recruiting purposes and managing multiple priorities effectively. This role provides a comprehensive foundation in human resources functions with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment dedicated to developing future HR leaders. Qualifications Previous experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative roles preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail Comfortable working with documents, tracking systems, and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to handle confidential information professionally Preferred (But Not Required) HR or recruiting experience Knowledge of employment compliance or onboarding requirements Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
