Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Veterans Affairs Location 1111B Louisville Road Frankfort, KY 40601 USA Description The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA) is charged with ensuring that all Kentucky veterans and their families obtain the benefits and services they have earned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Ideal candidate has skilled nursing facility compliance experience Self-starter with audit experience in a long-term care setting Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance knowledge is a plus Excellent communicator, capable of clear, concise reporting Capable of working with multiple teams We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer located in Frankfort, KY, to oversee regulatory compliance for our skilled nursing state veterans' homes. This individual will ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, with a focus on patient safety, privacy, quality of care and operational ethics. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and a passion for maintaining high standards of resident care. KDVA administers numerous veterans' programs and facilities such as: Veterans benefits Homeless Veterans Women Veterans Educational benefits Employment services 5 State Veterans cemeteries 5 State Veterans centers for long-term nursing care The ideal candidate will work independently yet be part of a larger team to meet our commitment to serve Kentucky's Veterans Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

Must have four years of program compliance experience in a healthcare setting or a related field. Substitute

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Office Setting or long-term care facility setting including a variety of offices, veterans living quarters and other work areas and environments. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in
KRS 18A.111.
