Full Job Description Credentialing Specialist SUMMARY:
Specialists will interact with Transportation Providers to obtain compliance information, coordinate inspections, work with Credentialing Manager to coordinate daily activities. Other duties include filing, emailing, responding to inquiries and complaints, working in multiple credentialing/document collection platforms. Interactions with other departments will also occur, teamwork within small groups/departments will be expected in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain daily contact with transportation providers to ensure compliance with all contract requirements. Verify provider documents and ensure they meet contractual requirements and scan and maintain documents and compliance files. Update multiple credentialing platforms with new provider, vehicle, and driver information. Document and electronically file activities such as vehicle inspection forms, spot inspection forms, observation forms and digital photography. All documentation received must be entered into multiple credentialing platforms immediately to ensure providers are paid correctly and on time. Accurate and detailed record keeping of all information received on all credentialing platforms. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by the Provider Relations Manager or any other department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
3 years of customer service experience. 2 years of credentialing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills High ability to demonstrate multi-tasking skills in a high stress environment while working with multiple managers. Elevated level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations/information. Ability to work independently and/or with a team. Professional appearance Positive attitude
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma (required) College/trade school Degree (preferred)
