DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Analyst, US Export. This Hybrid position will be located in Raynham, MA (USA). Alternate hybrid locations may be considered in Raritan, NJ, West Chester, PA, OR Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. Job Overview The Analyst, US Export supports DePuy Synthes' export operations by coordinating documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling the timely and accurate shipment of products to international markets. This role plays a critical part in maintaining supply continuity for customers worldwide while ensuring adherence to U.S. export regulations and internal policies. The position offers hands-on exposure to global supply chain operations within a leading orthopedics organization and opportunities to build expertise in international trade and compliance. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day U.S. export operations, including preparation and review of export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, and licenses). Assist in ensuring compliance with U.S. export control regulations and internal trade compliance policies. Coordinate with internal partners (Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, Quality, and Regulatory) to support timely international shipments. Perform basic analysis and reporting on export transactions, shipment status, and documentation accuracy. Maintain accurate records and data in export management and enterprise systems. Support audits, reviews, and inquiries related to export activities and compliance requirements. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service levels in export operations. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field preferred).
Experience and Skills Required:
0-2 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, logistics, export operations, or a related analytical role. Basic understanding of U.S. export processes, documentation, and compliance concepts. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Exposure to export regulations (e.g., EAR, OFAC) or international trade compliance. Experience working with ERP or trade compliance systems (e.g., SAP, export management tools). Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, logistics, or international business. Experience supporting global or regional distribution operations. Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify discrepancies, and support issue resolution.
