About the role IQ Sig is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to manage and maintain our corporate certifications (ISO 9001, 27001, 42001, and CMMI Level 3). This role is not just about audit readiness; it is about ensuring our quality culture is active and healthy across all functional areas. You will be responsible for the "pulse" of our internal operations, ensuring that the evidence of our work matches the high standards of our policies. What you'll do
Certification Maintenance:
Lead the efforts to maintain current ISO 9001 and CMMI Level 3 certifications, while supporting the implementation phase for
ISO 27001
(Security) and
ISO 42001
(AI).
Internal Audit Coordination:
Draft and execute internal audit checklists; identify non-conformances and work with department leads to implement corrective actions.
Artifact & Evidence Management:
Ensure that operational artifacts (meeting minutes, change tickets, risk logs, and training records) are generated and filed consistently.
Cross-Functional Orchestration:
Coordinate with HR, IT, and Program Management to ensure quality requirements are integrated into their existing workflows.
Platform Migration:
Oversee the strategic migration of quality documentation from legacy systems (CORE) to SharePoint, ensuring data privacy and version control are maintained.
Management Reviews:
Chair the collection of data for Quarterly Management Reviews and Organizational Process Change Control reviews.
Executive Support:
Support the CEO with executive coordination (10%), including documenting key discussions, translating strategic decisions into actionable follow-ups, and reinforcing alignment with quality and compliance objectives.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years in Quality Assurance or Compliance, specifically with ISO 9001 and 27001. Experience with CMMI Level 3 and
ISO 42001
(AI Management) is highly preferred.
Process Mindset:
Ability to translate complex certification requirements into simple, repeatable tasks for internal teams.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong experience managing documentation within SharePoint and specialized compliance software.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to coordinate across functional areas and report status directly to Executive Leadership.
Audit Expertise:
Experience serving as a primary point of contact for external auditors Success in the First 90
Days Audit Defense:
Successfully navigate the May
ISO 9001
re-certification audit.
Evidence Generation:
Establish a "heartbeat" of change tickets and risk log entries that demonstrate policy implementation.
Migration Roadmap:
Finalize the plan to move the quality repository to SharePoint without breaking historical compliance. The pay range for this position is between $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
