Job Description

Stellantis is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Trade Professional to join the US Customs organization. This position is responsible forsupporting all US Customs Compliance Activities for Stellantis.

The role will support Customs Compliance activitieswith a focus on USMCA Free Trade Agreement Qualificationand Forecasting. The role will also be supportingadditional activitiessuch as Classification, USMCA Reconciliation, FTA/Origin Solicitation, Country of Origin Determination, managing the service provider(s) and supporting study requests. This is a high visibility role with regular participation inupper MGMT level meetings and communication with executive-level groups.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage USMCA Program for current and future FleetSupportFTA Solicitation / Qualification of all Parts and VehiclesFTA Rule of Origin Subject Matter Expert for Government Affairs and LegalDuty Impact studies to evaluate future Product and Sourcing StrategiesElevate FTA/Duty Risk through leadership channels to course-correct for complianceRepresent Customs on various cross-functional teams at all levels in the organizationManage 3rd Party service provider for support with Classification, Broker Entry Referral, and country of origin document solicitationand ensuring KPI's are establishedand metSupport our Broker with USMCA Reconciliation programsComplete Transactional & Non-Transactional Audits for various Customs Compliance ProgramsCommunicate with US Customs & Border as well as US Trade Representative officials as neededDriving IT Process Improvements that streamline processes and increases compliance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management, International Trade,Finance, Economics or related fieldMinimum 5 yearsexperience in Customs Compliance, preferably in the automotive industryKnowledge of US Customs rules and regulationsExperience in associated supply chain management disciplines
Extensive Understanding of FTA RegulationsPreferred Qualifications:
Master's degree preferredSkills /
Abilities:
