Trade Compliance Analyst (TCA)#26-00558 Troy, MI
All On-site Job Description Role And Responsibilities:
Functions as the customer facing contact for all trade related requests. Reviews, analyzes and returns customer solicitations for Certificates of Origin (CoO's) for Client Finished Goods and other trade related requirements. Serve as the main point of contact for the customer regarding their Customs documents Ensures timely response to customer solicitation for CoO's for Client Finished Goods. Analyzes Finished Good part numbers solicitated for CoO from Customers Interacts with Client Global Trade Operations & Compliance teams (GTO/GTC) Maintain and update master tracking documents to reflect request status and certificate receipt. Follow up with Trade Programs Staff on outstanding or incomplete documentation Process customer cross reference requests by mapping customer part numbers to Client DUNS and/or Client part numbers using GSD and SAP. Keeps Record of Customer solicitations regarding CoO. Process requests for cross references from Customer part to Client DUNS and/or Client part using GSD and SAP Participate in Customer Trade Programs Training as required Analyze and send HTS questions from customers to the HTS Classification team Assist with loading data into customer portals Analyze/process requests for customs documents and prioritizes as needed. Understand and comply with all OSHA, Safety and PPE Requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
3+ years' experience in Global Trade, Customs Compliance, Brokerage, supply chain, materials management Knowledge of international trade agreements such as
USMCA, CAFTA
etc. required. 3+ years of working experience with SAP ERP required. Experience working within automotive component stamping, molding, and assembly manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Experience working with automotive customers (OEM's & Tiers) Familiarity with automotive standards i.e. AIAG, VDA, MMOG/LE, Odette a plus
Preferred Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills Excellent computer proficiency (MS office suite, ERP system, web based tools & applications) Comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities Ability to exercise independent judgment
