Job Description

Tricon is an owner, operator and developer of single-family rental homes in the U.S. and multi-family apartments in Canada. Our development programs are also delivering thousands of new rental homes and apartments as part of our commitment to help solve the housing supply shortage. Job Description A Transaction Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Acquisitions team by overseeing the escrow process from contract through closing and financing. A transaction coordinator will also in all ad hoc projects supporting portfolio growth initiatives. Serving as the primary point of contact for all closing procedures and questions, this position is key in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. Receive executed purchase agreements, supply the escrow or title officer with the necessary documentation and information to open files Research county websites to confirm tax and property information Provide documentation to Accounting for a wire of the earnest deposit money Seek necessary information to clearly understand if expected work results have been achieved Work with Title to obtain required HOA information and/or documentation Update internal systems with required data and documentation Maintain all documentation and files to ensure all the mandatory disclosures are complete Verify for completeness of all initials, signatures and dates before marking the purchase contracts as complete Initiate communication if documents require any additional signatures, corrections or amendments Monitor and assess the progress of the sale so that important deadlines are met, and contingencies are released Support acquisition team with data validation and research in the underwriting process as needed
Qualifications:
Takes ownership of work product and delivers within tight deadlines Ability to work well under pressure, self-manage, and set an example for others Experience managing complex projects through to successful completion Track record of building respectful relationships with both internal and external team members, vendors, direct reports, leadership, etc. Passionate problem solver who is proactive, reliable, and resourceful Track record of fostering a collaborative team environment Proficiency in Microsoft excel is a plus Minimum Requirements High school diploma Proficiency in MS Office programs Outstanding customer service At Tricon, we are committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued for their unique contributions, experiences, voices, and backgrounds.
