Job Description

Greenstone Construction Inc. is a General Contractor focusing on commercial construction for the Federal Government. Our mission is to be a sustainable and solid building partner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Compliance Specialist include, but are not limited to: Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to complete required project documentation. Certificates of Insurance, Certified Payrolls, Lien Waivers, Contractor Licenses, and other items as required. Assist the project team (superintendents, project manager, office manager, accounting, and other team members) with the preparation of reports, invoices, timecards, etc. Manage Credit Card Receipts Send, receive, distribute, and update project correspondence, data, and reports. Organize and order office/business supplies & maintain office equipment. Assist with time keeping functions Set up, organize, and manage filing systems Assist with Government compliance reporting Maintain personnel files, New Hire forms Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Successful candidates must have experience drafting and reviewing documents and a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills, accurate keyboarding and word processing ability, and the ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently is essential. Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing Must have general knowledge of standard office procedures Demonstrate flexibility, ability to prioritize and stay organized while multi-tasking Ability to learn new software to assist in operations Construction related business experience preferred Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
EXPERIENCE
• Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based software systems • Experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant -Must be able to pass background check.
WORKING CONDITIONS
