PM Salary Range:
$65,000 - $95,000 We are seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst for a direct-hire opportunity with our client. This position is responsible for supporting U.S. import and export compliance through accurate tariff classification, duty and tariff analysis, customs documentation review, and ERP master data maintenance. The role works closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and improve landed cost visibility. Key Responsibilities Assign
HTS/HTSUS
classifications using product specifications, drawings, and bills of material Determine applicable duty rates, tariffs, Section 301/232 duties, and antidumping/countervailing duties Prepare pre-entry import summaries and landed cost analyses Maintain HTS codes, tariff rates, and country-of-origin data within SAP/ERP systems Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance Collaborate with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to resolve documentation discrepancies Support export compliance activities, including
EAR/ECCN
reviews and export documentation requirements Coordinate Post Summary Corrections (PSC) and customs entry updates with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Monitor changes in trade regulations, tariff schedules, duty rates, and customs requirements Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams regarding import/export compliance matters Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, customs compliance in a MUST Strong knowledge of HTSUS classification, General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs), country-of-origin regulations, and import entry processes Experience working with tariffs, customs brokers, and freight forwarders Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred SAP or other ERP system experience preferred Familiarity with USMCA, free trade agreements, export controls, and customs regulations is a plus Additional Information No direct supervisory responsibilities Provides cross-functional support and compliance guidance Office-based work environment Standard business and administrative physical requirements Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation, personal time, and company holidays Profit-sharing program Tuition reimbursement opportunities Interested?
