Job Description Our client, a global consumer goods company, is looking for a Tax Compliance Analyst to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Berkeley Heights. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Role Overview:

Contract Role:

3 months, possibility of extension

Pay:

$35-40/hr on W2 (No C2C)

Schedule:

Hybrid 3 days onsite, standard 40-hour work week M-F

Responsibilities:

Prepare sales and use tax returns Prepare monthly sales and use tax journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers for General Ledger tax account balances Ensure tax compliance in all state and local jurisdictions in the US Respond to state and local tax notices and inquires Research tax issues

Required Qualifications:

Business Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of tax compliance experience Familiar with general accounting concepts, practices, and procedures Experience with SAP or similar large ERP system Experience with Taxware or other tax compliance software is required Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite The Solomon Page Distinction Solomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
