Workforce Development Intern - Compliance
HENDRICK MEDICAL CENTER
ADM Corporate Compliance Part Time Day Shift Monday-Friday
JOB SUMMARY
This internship offers hands-on mentorship in healthcare compliance, regulatory research, and auditing within a dynamic healthcare environment. Under the direction of the System Director of Compliance and Integrity and the Manager of Compliance and Integrity, the Compliance Intern will assist the Compliance and Integrity department in supporting initiatives to ensure the organization operates in alignment with federal, state, and internal regulatory standards. The Compliance and Integrity Department will provide education to the Compliance Intern on planning, coordinating, and the management of audits and third-party investigations. The Compliance and Integrity Department will train the Compliance Intern on how to develop educational materials used for staff education. This includes content related to compliance standards, Hendrick's policies and procedures and ensure alignment with federal, state, and internal regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Working toward a bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field Minimum Work Experience No work experience needed Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve and perform research is essential Must be organized, versatile, and able to work independently Strong analytical skills Attention to every detail Highest degree of credibility, integrity, and discretion Comfortable working independently and able to effectively manage large, complex projects through their entire life cycle with minimal supervision Thrives on wide variety of intellectually challenging work Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
