Job Description

Hanover Company is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill an Asset Management Analyst position in their asset management group. This position will be working full-time in the Houston office. This role is a great entry into understanding how multifamily properties operate from initial opening through disposition. You'll gain firsthand experience working directly with Regional and Property Managers to understand what drives the numbers within the financials. Beyond focusing on operations, the role will gain experience in real estate finance, both debt and equity structures, as well as property valuation and dispositions.
Responsibilities Include :
Provide detailed analysis of individual properties and submarkets including traffic, leasing, and financial analysis Develop and distribute weekly and monthly Asset Management reports Complete asset strategy reviews and participate in the execution of the plan Support the Chief Operating Officer with ad hoc property initiatives Participate in the creation and monitoring of the annual operating plan Assist in portfolio wide initiatives to provide improved direction to onsite management teams and create value at the property level Assist in the marketing and due diligence processes related to asset dispositions Work in conjunction with property management teams to implement asset strategy Help manage relationships with equity partners by providing information and regular updates on each asset
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required in: Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field Real estate experience is beneficial, but not required Experience with AI tools, preferably including the development of agentic solutions, automated tasks, or workflow enhancements through professional, academic, or personal use Advance/Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills, including the ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, conditional formatting, and present findings in a visually pleasing way Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets Detail oriented person who can execute at a high level Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of professionals Independent with an inquisitive mind Team player with the ability to work with multiple departments and groups within the company Hanover offers competitive salaries based on education and experience, upward mobility, and a robust benefits program which includes 401k with company match, company-paid medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans, and flexible spending accounts.
