Full Job Description Overview:
MasTec Communications Group performs both wireline and wireless communication services on a national scale. The Compliance Specialist primarily supports the Training Support team by managing and coordinating all aspects of compliance with grants and training. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, and an effective communicator.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with Safety, Training, and Market teams to assess opportunities and engage stakeholders. Communicate program requirements, deliverables, and updates to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate program registrations, documentation, timelines, and close-out activities, including outcomes and reimbursements. Manage contract compliance, including MOUs and funder and organizational guidelines. Collaborate with external partners to meet pre- and post-program requirements. Coordinate program implementation and monitor compliance with internal teams and partners. Prepare progress reports, including financial updates and milestone tracking, as required by funders. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear and transparent communication. Register, track, and report training, competencies, and completions for the Apprenticeship Program. Support new hire onboarding, ongoing compliance training, and internal skills certification processes. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities. Ability to commute to our Lewisville, TX location 2-3 days a week (Hybrid Position) Experience with compliance, recordkeeping and Learning systems a plus Intermediate ability using Microsoft Office products and database systems Excellent communication skills, written and oral Detail-oriented and highly organized Business skills should include excellent leadership and negotiation skills; strong customer orientation, effective conflict management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving capability; a strong business-minded, consultative approach with a focus on profitability and margin Hard work pays off.
