Job Description

Description The AML Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring strong regulatory compliance and risk management by reviewing and validating alert investigations. The AML Compliance Analyst is responsible for applying AML risk standards, policies, and procedures to confirm alert reviews are accurate, complete, and defensible. This AML Compliance Analyst position focuses on quality assurance, documentation review, and ensuring investigative outcomes align with regulatory expectations. Role Overview Responsible for interpreting and applying AML risk standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across alert investigations. Key Responsibilities + Interpret and apply AML risk standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures + Perform risk-based quality analysis to determine whether alerts were appropriately reviewed and cleared by Compliance Alert Analysts + Assess the accuracy and completeness of alert documentation and investigative outcomes + Ensure all required data is properly collected, documented, and supported to meet compliance and regulatory standards + Identify potential gaps, inconsistencies, or weaknesses within alert investigations and supporting documentation + Apply sound risk judgment when evaluating investigative decisions and outcomes Data & Documentation Review Validate the accuracy and completeness of, including but not limited to: + Investigation narratives and supporting documentation + Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) + Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) + Know Your Customer (KYC) information + Account activity and transactional data + Any additional information relevant to AML investigations and decision-making Requirements Required Skills & Competencies + Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills + Ability to analyze and synthesize large volumes of complex data + High attention to detail with strong risk judgment + Demonstrated ability to identify documentation gaps and inconsistencies + Ability to evaluate investigative quality against established AML standards and regulatory requirements + Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly document findings and observations + High school diploma or GED equivalent TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
