Remain up to date on chemical laws and the hazardous goods law required for classification, in particular regulations governing the documentation and labeling as well as the safe handling of raw materials and products. Support Materials Compliance Management program in the areas of TSCA and corresponding international counterparts. Ensures correct and timely creation, maintenance and management of the safety data sheets, as well as the labeling data in SAP EHS, for Klüber products and raw materials. Ensure formulated products comply legal and corporate requirements, while helping to achieve facility compliance with established requirements. Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, tariffs, and regulations, including hazardous material handling, customs clearance, and environmental guidelines. Identify and mitigate potential risks in international trade, including financial risks, logistical delays, and changes in trade regulations or tariffs.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, International Trade, Safety or related field. 3 years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory, or foreign trade with a focus on chemicals or related industries. SAP and SAP-EHS knowledge preferred. Knowledge of relevant chemical legislation (such asTSCA, PFAS, CLP
/ UN-GHS,..) Knowledge of regulatory requirements (such as EPA, DOT and TCEQ), including Foreign Trade and Tariff Code classification- a plus. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global suppliers & customers. Strategic-thinking skills for long-term development plans with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
