Job Description

Position Summary The Administrator is responsible for the regulatory & contract compliance of Wi-Fiber's national operations. This role owns or is the primary point of contact for business license filings, FCC compliance reports, maintaining necessary certificates for federal grant applications, maintaining a knowledge base and schedule tracker of compliance deadlines, and other legal tasks. The Administrator maintains the compliance necessary for the business to function effectively and identifies compliance gaps. Key Responsibilities Business Compliance
  • Prepare, file, and maintain business license applications, renewals, amendments, and annual reports.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain regulatory calendars.
  • Research federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of licenses, permits, filings, and legal correspondence.
  • Assist with compliance audits, inquiries, and reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, outside counsel, and internal departments.
  • Other related duties as assigned. Telecommunications Legal Support
  • Assist with FCC and state public utility commission filings and correspondence.
  • Support telecommunications registrations and regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare supporting documentation.
  • Assist with telecommunications contracts, vendor agreements, and infrastructure-related compliance matters.
  • Track regulatory updates affecting telecommunications operations.
  • Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of prior paralegal experience.
  • Strong knowledge of business licensing and legal compliance procedures.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple urgent deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in telecommunications law or regulatory compliance, particularly FCC and state public utility commission filings.
  • Background overseeing complex multi-state legal operations.
  • Experience with E-Rate or other grant programs.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications industry regulations, compliance standards, and filing procedures.

Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
