COPY LINK link Adecco is looking hiring an Export Compliance Specialist for their client in Everett, WA. Candidates must be able to work at the client worksite Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00am to 5:00pm pacific to amodate necessary business functions. Qualified candidates should be detail orientated and have experience managing global tradepliance activities, export classifications, licensing, and regulatory interpretation. This role will ensure adnce to U.S. export regulations (including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC requirements) while enabling efficient international operations across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions cross-functionally to mitigate risk while supporting business objectives. Key Responsibilities Ensurepliance with U.S. export regulations, including EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and Customs requirements Classify products, software, and technology using ECCN, USML, and HTS codes Determine export licensing requirements and prepare/submit license applications when needed Screen customers, partners, and transactions against restricted party lists Review and approve export documentation mercial invoices, shipping documents, AES filings) Maintain and audit export records in accordance with regulatory requirements Support internal audits and externalpliance reviews Develop, implement, and maintain exportpliance procedures and internal controls Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, sales, logistics) Partner with supply chain and program management teams to ensurepliance in global operations Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impacts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-7+ years of experience in exportpliance, global trade, or international logistic Strong knowledge of: Export Administration Regulations (EAR) International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (if applicable) OFAC sanctions programs Experience with product classification (ECCN/HTS/USML) Familiarity with AES filings and export documentation processes Experience with ERP systems and tradepliance tools (e.g., SAP GTS, OCR, Amber Road, etc.) Strong analytical, documentation, andanizational skills Ability to interpret regulations and them to real-world scenarios Preferred Qualifications Licensed U.S. Customs Broker or Certified Export Specialist (CES) certification Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment Knowledge of tariff mitigation strategies (e.g., 9802 provisions, country-of-origin rules) Experience supporting multi-site or global operations Strong understanding of import/export integration across supply chain Key Competencies High attention to detail and risk awareness Strongmunication and cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving with a practical, business-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details:
