Job Description

Export Compliance Specialist Pay Rate:
$25.00 per hour, paid weekly
Location:
Germantown, WI (Onsite - 5 days/week)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Assignment Type:
Temp-to-Hire Satisloh North America is seeking a detail-oriented Export Compliance Specialist to support international shipping operations and ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations. This role works closely with multiple departments, government agencies, and logistics partners to maintain compliant export processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review international shipping documentation, process export declarations through the ACE portal, and authorize export sales orders for warehouse release. Monitor export activities for compliance with applicable trade regulations, identify potential compliance issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain accurate export records, support license application submissions, and ensure adherence to company and government recordkeeping requirements. Research and stay current on changing global trade regulations, sanctions, and export compliance requirements; update procedures and recommend process improvements. Serve as a compliance resource for internal teams by providing guidance, training, and support on export shipping processes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and learn complex trade regulations. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, finance, or trade compliance is preferred. Knowledge of Incoterms and SAP ERP is a plus #TM2
