In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products meet regulatory standards and provide essential support to both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical and product support to customers, offering recommendations on a wide range of specialty chemical products. Develop, review, and ensure the accuracy of product sales and technical literature. Manage product regulatory compliance, including VOC, CA Proposition 65, and other industry-specific regulations. Create and review technical documents, including technical data sheets, internal communications, and external publications. Create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in compliance with GHS standards using third-party authoring software. Review product labeling to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Stay informed on legislation and regulatory changes affecting products, and recommend solutions to mitigate potential risks. Conduct training for customers and company staff on product use, safety, and regulatory matters. Assist in the development and evaluation of new products, including product demos and testing. Assist in the management of state, federal, and international product registrations and regulatory reporting. Liaise with government agencies (e.g., EPA, OSHA, DOT, WDNR) to ensure ongoing compliance. Contribute to environmental and safety program implementation within the company. Continuously improve departmental processes and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. Background in the chemical industry and familiarity with chemical regulations is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills (including face-to-face and phone interactions). Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and independently prioritize multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing software (e.g., Adobe/Nitro).
