Credit Analyst

Duties Conduct comprehensive credit analysis by collecting and analyzing financial data, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential clients through detailed risk analysis and financial modeling techniques. Prepare detailed credit reports and summaries that clearly communicate findings and recommendations for approval or further review. Underwrite loan applications by assessing borrower's financial health, industry trends, and market conditions using quantitative research methods. Monitor existing portfolios to identify signs of potential default or fraud, implementing preventative measures as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as loan officers and compliance to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Proven experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, or underwriting within financial services or banking sectors. Strong understanding of financial concepts including cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling techniques. Proficiency with financial software tools and advanced Excel skills for data collection and quantitative analysis. Excellent mathematical skills combined with a solid grasp of accounting principles and technical accounting practices. Ability to interpret complex financial reports and forecast future performance using forecasting methods. Effective negotiation skills paired with strong communication abilities to articulate findings clearly and persuasively.

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
