Job Description First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Vice President, Senior Credit Officer & Team Leader to join the Credit Department.
Compensation:
The pay range for the role is $100,000•$125,000/yr; commensurate with experience The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8:00AM•5:00PM (hours may vary) Responsibilities In this role, the Senior Credit Officer & Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of Underwriters and/or Credit Analysts, working with Commercial Banking Centers, underwriting complex credit requests, financial analysis and enterprise valuation. The Senior Credit Credit Officer & Team Leader is responsible for training and developing the Credit Analysts and Underwriters and also assists to provide administrative and technical support to the Credit Department Manager. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in business administration, related fields, or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of commercial lending and management experience preferred 7 years of experience in commercial lending, including at least 3 years of credit underwriting required Financial analysis•solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles Must be organized, detail oriented, and accurate when working with numbers Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills required Strong quantitative skills including the ability to source data, analyze financial statements and conduct sensitivity analysis Demonstrate an ability to present the outcomes of complex, technical analytic approaches to a non-technical audience Strong credit background essential Solid organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively in a multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines with quality results Thoroughness, attention to detail, and excellent follow-throughBenefits:
