Job Description

Credit Analyst Our client is hiring a full-time Credit Analyst in Carmel, IN, to support the lending and credit team in the management of a portfolio of real estate projects, including land development and apartment community developments. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing loan risk, and providing recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in facilitating and initiating the credit granting function on new and existing customers to achieve company performance objectives and goals. Review applications, evaluate credit and financial data, analyze risk factors, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility for loans. Perform extensive investigation and analysis of credit and/or financial information, working within established guidelines. Provide credit analysis feedback and recommendations to the lending team. Support Credit Management with daily, weekly, and/or monthly administrative functions. Collaborate with other functional areas to maintain productivity and ensure department and company objectives are met. Assist with the initiation of cash disbursements. Assist with file management, ensuring all loan files are complete and in compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all loan applications. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required. 1 to 3 years of experience preferred, not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take initiative and demonstrate strong time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
