Intern - Accounts Payable Part-Time

Location:

On site at 1425 Innovation Pl, West Lafayette, IN 47906 Office hours are 8am-5pm , this role is part time 20-25 hrs per week. Scheduled days are flexible

Responsibilities:

Process invoices, credit memos, for payment based on the Company s AP guidelines and processes Ensure A/P invoices have appropriate approvals Ensure A/P invoices are coded appropriately Work within deadlines while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail Apply understanding of Quality System Requirements in executing job duties. Model and encourage employee involvement in continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

High School degree required • 3rd or 4th year college student with major in Finance/Accounting Travel not required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers(typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.) Onsite office environment with assigned workstation

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication Microsoft Office Suite Strong problem solving, organizational, and excellent communication skills required. Proven ability to communicate and work well in team environments
