Position Description:
The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing US customer accounts to mitigate financial risk. This includes monthly reviews of accounts that exceed established credit limits, assessing customer creditworthiness using D&B reports, sales history, and payment history, and providing recommendations to upper management. The Analyst will support the business by leading process improvement projects and other management directives. Additionally, this role will manage the Cforia application's administration, documentation, and system configurations. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain O2C metrics and SLA dashboards via Excel and Power BI. Coordinate bankruptcy activities and support for preference claims. Understand mapping of Cforia data into boundary systems and maintain system integration to Oracle. Document and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 issues for system users, escalating critical items to designated parties. Serve as the system administrator for Cforia Autonomy, handling functional and technical issues, and resolving integration-related errors and train secondary administrators. Analyze financial statements and public financial information to determine appropriate credit limits for new and existing key customers. Utilize market data and analytics to assess credit risk on large accounts and provide insights and recommendations. Support or lead the negotiation of past due accounts, follow-up inquiries, and refer accounts to collection agencies, collaborating with internal business partners. Lead analytics around field and key accounts, including past due analysis, payment trends, and customer segmentation. Partner with Financial Services Managers to provide data and trends on portfolios, driving insights into past due balances. Drive the application of credit policy, periodic credit reviews on existing customers, and assessment of creditworthiness of potential customers. Oversee aging reporting and analysis, including monthly bad debt reporting, and lead the process of quantifying monthly accounting reserves.
