ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide outstanding member service and contribute to overall team effort. Maintain a preferred dealer network that provides strong-performing vehicle loans to the credit union and excellent service to our members. Act as a liaison between the credit union, auto dealerships, internal departments and members to solve problems and ensure a beneficial outcome. Visit dealers and other outside sources of member loans to communicate new products and services, and support productive dealer relationships. Maintain and report on dealer/retail network activity monthly. Grow the indirect portfolio in accordance with budget, goals, and expectations of management. Uphold an excellent level of response time and service, ensuring the success of the Indirect Department. Assist with the monitoring of competitors' practices and pricing, and help to ensure that the Indirect Program is competitive and successful in attainment of production and profit goals, and optimization of risk. Plan and execute periodic dealer events. Make recommendations and implement procedures to improve indirect lending, and ensure the financial position of the credit union as it relates to indirect lending. Assist with collecting or making payment arrangements on delinquent loans. Meet individual and department goals and work to meet overall credit union goals. Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information. Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Finance or related field. Two years' experience in a similar position. Or a combination of four years of college level education and experience in a similar position. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
