Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Lending team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing commercial loan requests, assessing credit risk, and providing recommendations to support sound lending decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, experience with commercial lending, and the ability to work closely with lenders and credit leadership. Key Responsibilities Analyze commercial loan requests, including C&I, commercial real estate, construction, and agricultural credits. Evaluate borrower financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity. Prepare detailed credit memorandums and risk assessments for new and existing relationships. Conduct annual reviews, renewals, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Identify credit risks and recommend appropriate loan structures, covenants, and mitigants. Ensure compliance with bank credit policy, regulatory requirements, and underwriting standards. Partner with commercial lenders to structure credit facilities and support business development efforts. Assist with problem loan identification and portfolio risk management. Present credit recommendations to loan committees and senior management as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 3-5+ years of commercial credit analysis or commercial banking experience. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit underwriting. Experience analyzing commercial real estate, C&I, and owner-occupied lending relationships. Knowledge of banking regulations and credit risk management principles. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
