As a part of the Credit Administration team, your primary responsibility will be to assist with the assessment of initial and ongoing financial capacities of prospective and current commercial clients. You will also analyze credit proposals within department guidelines. You will have the opportunity to work with many teams within the Bank including the Commercial Lending groups, Commercial Loan Operations, Compliance, and Investments. You will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after successfully completing training.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field. Commensurate experience will be considered Proficiency in understanding general accounting principles, financial statement reporting and accurate interpretation of financial statement schedules Excellent written and oral communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of general loan terminology for analysis of loan documents Knowledge of financial principles for ratio and cash flow analysis Previous banking or financial institution experience Previous commercial underwriting or financial analysis experience
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / OBJECTIVES
Review financial statements of clients and provide analysis to the lending areas to ensure soundness of loan Review documents for new loans for completeness and accuracy of execution Verify the accuracy of client's borrowing base soundness on a consistent basis Monitor client's loan covenants and report findings Prepare various reports generated from internal systems for senior management's utilization Maintain files and databases with current client information Perform additional assignments as requested All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program.
