Wanamingo, MN Position Summary This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to perform a variety of credit analysis and loan tasks to ensure that loan application data and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and compliant within lending and regulatory policies. The analyst is responsible for analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, and preparing well-supported credit presentations for review. Job duties will be performed within established expectations, with an emphasis on providing responsive internal service to lenders and overall maintaining a superior customer service experience. The position supports the lending function by submitting high quality, well documented credit files for approval within established timelines.

Essential Duties:

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess borrower risk and repayment capacity
• Communicate with bank clients to collect necessary financial information and clarify questions arising during underwriting
• Prepare comprehensive credit memos, spreads, and risk ratings for loan committee review
• Conduct industry, market, and collateral research to support credit decisions
• Monitor existing loan portfolios for performance and risk indicators
• Provide analytical support and recommendations to loan officers regarding credit structure, terms, and risk considerations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the development of credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
• Review valuations and appraisals to support credit underwriting
• Provide support to the loan officers, working as a team to provide seamless support to them and ultimately the bank's clients
• Participate in internal reviews, audits, and examinations as needed
• Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1-3 years experience in financial statement analysis, preferably in a banking environment
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with banking regulations and loan documentation a plus Working Conditions
